From a young age, Emily Taylor has been personally involved with issues of special needs, and the needs of the elderly. Emily Taylor graduated from The University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in 2007 and for the last 10 years has practiced solely in in the areas of Special Needs Planning, Estate Planning and End of Life Planning.

Ms. Taylor was selected for inclusion in the Arizona Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2019, a list which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state in a given year. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., a “professional association of attorneys who are dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to people as they age and people with special needs” and in 2017 Ms. Taylor joined the Arizona NAELA Board of Directors.

Ms. Taylor is active in this community and volunteers with various local organizations, including the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Probate Lawyers Assistance Project. She also is a member of the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities Human Rights Committee and is on the SARRC Planned Giving Advisory Council.

Emily was raised in a small town in Illinois, but has called Arizona home for 18 years. She has a love of travel, and some of her favorite trips have been to Greece, Brazil, Portugal and Thailand. Emily also loves to cook, practice yoga and read.
